Saturday will be a wet and windy day across the region. Rain will begin moving into Southwestern Ontario during the early morning hours and will move from west to east. Rain is expected to arrive in Eastern Ontario by the late afternoon or early evening hours. Aside from the rain, mainly cloudy skies are expected for most areas.

At times, rain may be heavy. Thunderstorms will also be possible with the main hazards being heavy rainfall and lightning. Strong wind gusts may occur within thunderstorms as well. Be aware of flooded areas and do not drive through flooded roadways.

Temperatures are expected to rise and then fall as rain begins. It will be a breezy day with wind gusts up to 70 km/h possible. Some areas near Lake Huron may see wind gusts over 70 km/h.

Sunday is expected to bring continued showers to Central and Eastern Ontario, with mainly cloudy skies and late day showers likely elsewhere.
