With mainly sunny skies expected across much of the region on Monday, the UV Index is forecasted to be in the High to Very High categories. The highest UV Index is expected to be 9 in Windsor (Very High). Midwestern, Central and Eastern Ontario will see a UV Index of 6 to 7 (High).
The higher the UV Index, the stronger the sun’s rays, meaning you need to take more precautions to protect your skin. The sun is at it’s peak between 10 AM and 4 PM. Ensure you wear sunscreen and cover up with a hat and sunglasses.
