Tuesday will bring mainly sunny skies to much of the region, with showers expected in Central and Eastern Ontario. Some thunderstorms will be possible as well.
Tomorrow will be an Advance Weather Alert Day due to the extreme heat. It will be quite humid across the area with Humidex values in the upper 30s to upper 40s. Ensure you remain hydrated and avoid extended periods of time outdoors. Advance Weather Alert Days are extended until next Sunday due to the extended period of extreme heat expected.
There is also the risk for severe weather tomorrow, which may include torrential downpours, the risk for an isolated tornado, strong wind gusts, and large hail. This risk appears to be quite conditional and will only be in play if storms develop. We will have further information posted tomorrow.
The UV Index is expected to be in the Very High category across the area tomorrow, so if you are planning to be in the sun, ensure you take precautions!
