Heavy rain and embedded thunderstorms are likely in Southwestern Ontario beginning Sunday morning, likely continuing through the afternoon.

Torrential downpours are expected and some areas of rain and thunderstorms will be slow moving. The exact location of the torrential downpours remains uncertain. However, where the torrential downpours set up, flooding and flash flooding is likely. Roads may become flooded, ensure you do not drive through flooded roadways.

Severe weather is not anticipated, as the main threat will be torrential downpours. Over 100 millimetres of rain will be possible for any area within the “Heavy Rain” impact area (dark green).
