Expected impacts for any area include localized flooding, flash flooding, power outages, utility damage, tree and property damage, reduced visibility in heavy rain, ponding on roadways and the risk of hydroplaning.
Areas in the High risk area may see heavy rainfall with amounts of 80 to 100 millimetres, a few tornadoes, wind gusts up to 130 km/h, hail 5 to 6 centimetres in diameter, and frequent lightning.
Areas in the Moderate risk area may see heavy rainfall with amounts of 80 to 100 millimetres, a few tornadoes, wind gusts up to 120 km/h, hail 4 to 5 centimetres in diameter, and frequent lightning.
Areas in the Elevated risk area may see heavy rainfall with amounts of 80 to 100 millimetres, a tornado or two, wind gusts up to 110 km/h, hail 4 to 5 centimetres in diameter, and continuous lightning.
Areas in the Low risk area may see heavy rainfall with amounts of 60 to 80 millimetres, an isolated tornado, wind gusts up to 100 km/h, hail 3 to 4 centimetres in diameter, and frequent lightning.
Areas in the Very Low risk area may see heavy rainfall with amounts of 40 to 60 millimetres, a low risk for an isolated tornado, wind gusts up to 90 km/h, hail 2 to 3 centimetres in diameter, and frequent lightning.
