With mainly sunny skies expected across the region for Saturday, the UV Index is forecasted to be in the High to Very High categories. The highest UV Index is expected to be 8 (Very High), which will be in many areas through Southwestern and Midwestern Ontario.
The higher the UV Index, the stronger the sun’s rays, meaning you need to take more precautions to protect your skin. The sun is at it’s peak between 10 AM and 4 PM. Ensure you wear sunscreen and cover up with a hat and sunglasses.
